TravelTime Technologies is a VC-backed B2B technology company. We have developed TravelTimeSearch and TravelTimeAnalytics to make locations searchable by travel time. We do far more than just calculate routes from A to B (though we do that too!). We enable thousands of locations on any website or database to be searched by the users’ choice of travel time and transport mode.

TravelTimeSearch can search 100,000’s of locations instantly without impacting our clients' search response times, and unnoticeable to the user (which is world-beating volume and speed). Imagine going to the largest web sites in the world and finding jobs by the commute time from your home (or homes by commute time from work) or relevant hotels by their travel time from your conference; or on dating websites, classifieds, or retailers. TravelTimeSearch is for sites with masses of locations, masses of users, and who make money from conversions – big sites, in some very obvious verticals. It is live on and having a significant impact.

The demand for TravelTimeAnalytics has gone crazy since launch. The need to understand commute times, catchment analysis, location intelligence, network, and urban planning, business expansion, and more… is constantly increasing as companies drive to optimize their own and client business. The “new norm” ahead of us has only served to heighten the need to understand more about travel times in most aspects of business operations and personal lives. With many of the largest commercial property, consultants, public sector organisations as customers, the opportunity is immense.

Your job as Senior Sales Manager will be to drive high revenue growth from the integration and use of TravelTimeSearch and TravelTime Analytics through prospecting and monetising incoming sales leads from B2B client partners.

Job requirements

We expect you to have experience of:

  • market opportunity analysis/market development.
  • sales pipeline management and tracking.
  • reporting on commercial results and targets.

During our interviews and selection process you should be able to clearly describe your process for identifying, engaging, and closing client partners.

Role requirements

  • Significant experience in B2B technology / SaaS sales, especially selling to larger companies.
  • Autonomous and Entrepreneurial mindset: essential to take full ownership of goals, deadlines, and targets in a remote working environment.
  • Sensitivity to commercial and cultural differences across continents.
  • Ability to perform in a small, fast-growing business.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Attention to detail and process - all progress with clients needs to be logged.
  • Insight on the current tech landscape and able to rapidly understand new technologies and the impact we can have on them.
  • You have a comfortable home or remote office setup from which to run your prospecting calls and meetings on video.
  • You're able to get into London easily for regular working day trips (e.g. once every 2 weeks) to collaborate, share ideas and progress.
  • Bachelor's Degree qualification from a reputable institution in business or similar discipline. 
  • Bonus: You have a background in selling GIS, Geospatial (or similar) technology platforms
