Data Collector

Job description

We are looking for a public transport timetable data collector and manager to join our team in Kaunas, Lithuania. The successful candidate will collect publicly available timetable data online, maintain the database of sources and check their quality and validity. Applications should include a CV and covering letter in English.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, maintain and track electronic documents and data
  • Collect public transport timetable and track data sources;
  • Check the quality of the collected data and track changes/expiration dates;
  • Use independent judgement in the field to solve emergent problems that arise during data collection or quality assurance (QA);
  • Report problems and questions about data collection to appropriate supervisors.

Requirements

  • Fluent English (written and spoken);
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Ability to follow rigorous data collection protocols and procedures;
  • Ability to estimate work scope and complete tasks within deadlines.
Not required but a bonus
  • Familiarity with Linux and command line;
  • Experience with data input and collection;
  • Experience with software testing and QA;

Salary

950-1150 €/mon. net
The exact salary offer will be made based on your skills, competences and experience.
